IQNA – In Islamic teachings,  Hayat Tayyaba [pure or happy life] refers to a higher form of existence beyond the basic animalistic needs and desires.

In Surah Al-Anfalof the Quran, it is mentioned that believers are called upon to respond to the call of God and the Prophet. “Believers, respond to Allah and the Messenger when he calls you to that which revives you.” (Verse 24) This verse highlights the purpose of human creation.

There are different types of life, including plant and animal life. All living beings share certain characteristics such as eating, drinking, sleeping, reproduction, and striving for survival. These needs are common to all creatures and are repeated daily until death.

However, human beings have the capacity to seek a higher form of life beyond these basic needs. This pure life, or Hayat Tayyaba, can be attained through belief in God, performing good deeds, practicing piety, associating with morally upright individuals, and participating in religious activities. By aligning one's actions and behaviors with this higher form of life, individuals can strive towards a more meaningful existence.
